ABOUT US

Incorporated way back in 1973, Atlas Industrial Corporation is considered to be the pioneer in the field of injection molded and blow molded plastic containers in India. It was challenging for the promoters of atlas to penetrate the market and replace conventional glass & aluminum containers with plastic containers. Atlas’ breakthrough was achieved with the support of prestigious names in the chemical industry-chiefly Sarabhai Chemicals and Alembic. With encouragement from IPCL, Atlas ventured into blow moulding of Polypropylene containers and bagged the coveted National Dairy Development Board as its long time customer.

BASE OF OPERATIONS

In 1984 Atlas shifted its operations’ base to Gandhinagar, a pollution free zone, and expanded its production capacity with seven high-perfomance blow moulding machines, and two injection moulding machines, with more than 150 designs of different containers catering to varied industries.

The range of containers include-

  • bottles with child safety caps
  • polypropylene bottles compatible With 20 mm rubber plugsan aluminum seals for poultry and FMD vaccines
  • containers ranging from 5ml up to 5 Liter capacity
  • and various jerry cans being the registered designs of Atlas Industries.
  • Atlas also offers inhouse screen & pad printing facility on all containers

INFRASTRUCTURE

The Company also undertakes specific development of molds in
catering to custom requirements for various clients.
The Company is mindful of, and prioritizes the various precautions in serving the pharmaceuticals sector. To exercise utmost care and caution during processors, moisture separators are installed on the compressors, and ultra air filters are fitted on the machines to ensure 99.9% clean air. Being associated with reputed pharma manufacturers for long Atlas has already begun upgrading its existing plant to a “clean room manufacturing unit” and strives to provide consistent and best quality products from time to time. Atlas is also on the verge of obtaining ISO certification within a short time

TOWARDS EXPORT

Atlas’ customer base is spread all over India, and products are indirectly exported to European and other countries through existing clients who are multinationals with ISO, WHO, GMP certification, and some of them USFDA also.
